Front tire wear on one side

I replaced my front tire (with the same OEM tire), and noticed that the old tire (7500Km) is more worn on one side than the other. I could see if I were riding on a race track always going in a circle in the same direction one side would be more worn, but is this normal for everyday riding or might there be an alignment problem? (I don't notice any pull to one side)
